Working in Japan while my new shop is being built…
So I have been in Japan for 2 weeks now while the new shop is being built in SC. Wish I was there to oversee the progress.
Oh and my wife and I are having a house built to go with the new shop! That is for her, I miss her so.
Can’t wait to get back home!!!

Ok so it’s really eight. Does anyone know an easy way to learn this program or am I just really dumb. I realize that in order to be good at something like this it takes constant exposure for it to become second nature but come on!

It’s just the perfect way to end the day.
I have a dream… or at least a craving.
This morning while washing my car, one of my neighbors opened their door and let out the most delicious smell known to man.
Bacon.
I was totally transfixed by this phenomenon. I could not get this smell of meat candy off my mind. The only thing I could think about was bacon.
Bacon and eggs.
No bacon and bisciuts, Wait…,
Bacon cheeeesee buuuuurrrrgeeerrs. No!
Bacon cheeseburgers and Corona! Yes!!!
Mind you this was at 9:00 a.m.
While not a total alcoholic. I managed to wait until 2:00 p.m. to drink some Corona’s while making the preparations for a most glorious meal with family and friends on a perfect weather Saturday afternoon.
Although, drinking Corona’s in the early morning is damn right fun.
Just sayin’.

Been back… for a while now
I just checked my last post and saw that it was when I was in Japan! Damn, that was back in April.
Well I’m back.
Been working on building a workshop (wood stuff). I am currently trying to build a workbench and a loft bed. I am going to try to do these with only handtools. I don’t currently own any powertools with the exption of a circular saw and cordless drill.
I have taken pictures of this build process and will post in the future.
I need to pay more attention to this blog…
Tiny Houses
Well I am back in the States again. Have been for about two months. Miss Japan? You bet. Coming back, I have realized how rude we Americans are. Maybe I didn’t notice in Japan because I didn’t speak the language. Oh well, ignorance is bliss.
Surfing the internet I came across this site for “Tiny Houses”. The concept sounds pretty cool but I just don’t know if I could live in something this small. Although, after living in a hotel room for a year maybe I could get used to it.
